Edit:

Sept 10-12, Baker City OR

Hotel: Oregon Trails Hotel
Dinner on Saturday - Location TBD

So the .0 meet has happened...time to plan the .5 meet.

Here is my suggestion.

1.  Nor Cal (Susanville area) down to Yosemite area.
2.  Mid-August time frame.  Not too late to all for decent weather.  I'm thinking August 14th.

Let the BSing begin!   Lol

Hottest damn time in the year.

Why not really...that's saved for July....but pretty close and thats the point.  We continually run into weather issues in September.  The last one I went too the heated vest was on full the entier 600 mile ride home.  The trip home also started in the snow.  Not doing that again.

Just announce it.

Post that you'll be in a certain area and you'd like some company. If fellow ST.Ners are interested they'll show up and we'll have a meet.

How hard is that?

Sweet -- we've got 3 more meets already!  Thumbsup

We need a versioning scheme.  i.e. would Baker City be VII.6? VII.5.1? VII.52?  Or maybe NWCRM VII?  Jeez, we gotta sort this out pronto!  (Wait a sec -- has this joke already been beaten to death in previous years?)

Hey, I'm new here - wouldn't that be VII.5a and VII.5b, etc? Or VII.5, VII.52, VII.53...

Its you mossbacks bringing the bad weather south. We always have glorious September weather in NorCal unless there is a .5 scheduled.  Bigsmile

I don't think your authorized to start a thread until you have a bike that your willing to ride farther then 10 miles from your house.  Oh yea.. we will need physical proof of such bike.. like.....you know... pics... cuz it doesn't exist on the net without pics.     Lol Lol

I don't know about Ukaih, but, XLR8, Major 662 and I checked Leggett  on Saturday...and it was like two very cold cows pi$$ing on a very flat rock... Crazy  I mean they were shooting hail at us.

That's what I was told at the wcrm ??? whatever.  Which is why I booked vacation in Sept instead of June.  They better not have lied to me.

BTW,  I think it's tradition to have shitty weather at any STN meet.  excluding the BBBBQ which always seems to be HOT,  sometimes too hot.

The first Nat'l at Custer,  it RAINED, the trip to Colorado, ... heat stroke,  West Virginia? ... hypothermia.  Second Custer.... snow in passes, next Colorado.... RAIN from Montana to Colorado.

I think September is best.  Tourist season is over for the most part and the weather is still good.
