Are you going to ride in for a few hours and then leave like last time? If you do that can you bring that scotch again only leave it this time.
The new iPhone works great BTW. Looks like Mr. Sunshine's calendar isn't syncing tho.
Well, the Rye is gonna be there about a week later, guess I'll just have to drink it alone, all by myself, with nobody else.

Heh heh. Great equipment though. I'm taking it hiking today. The GPS/Runkeeper combo is brilliant.

Maybe Mr. Sunshine can edit his first post with the final information and then start a new thread for WCRM VII.3, on August 14th

When we were there the last time, Most of the group, if not all stayed at the Oregon Trails Motel. Nice older motel. All ground floor rooms and provided a wash area with hose, buckets, soap and old towels. Most of us met for dinner at a brew pub down town and it really wasn't good. Complained to the lady at the motel about it and she told me that if we came back again, we could us a meeting room in there restauant plus she could provide about any beer we could get the brew pub cheaper. Also, I think that someone got use a group price.

Baker City, eh? Gotta show off the Canuck influence after the BBBBQ.
That sound like fun...312 miles on I84 if I slab it, possible doable even if I get a job...leave mid-afternoon on Friday, get there in time for a late dinner and the Saturday ride.....
BTW, I've an interview maņana....

Just thought that I would mention that we have an option. The first night at Barley Brown's was great. Sat. night I don't think that they were planning on us showing up again and they were a little overwelmed. Plus the town was having a street fair or something. It was pretty cool.

All you need to know:
Oregon Trail Motel
http://maps.google.com/maps/place?oe=UTF-8&gfns=1&um=1&ie=UTF-8&q=oregon+trail+motel&fb=1&gl=us&hq=trail+motel&hnear=Oregon&cid=16717714110997046872
Barley Brown
http://maps.google.com/maps/place?oe=utf-8&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a&um=1&ie=UTF-8&q=barley+brown+baker+city&fb=1&gl=us&hq=barley+brown&hnear=Baker+City,+OR&cid=18371672853958525036&pcsi=18371672853958525036,1
Some may prefer the upscale ambiance of the Geyser Grand Hotel, it's halfway between the Oregon Trail and Barley Browns
