Hey, I'm the defending champion there!

Which is something I bring up only because it's my one and only rally win and hence my one and only chance to say that and odds are I'll never have a chance to say that again.   Lol

Sadly, I won't be running it this year, but I strongly encourage you to give it a go. It's a really good rally and Scott's banquet monologue is worth the price of admission by itself.

I'm sure you'll see other STN'ers in it.

Hey DNA! Are you going to follow up this weekend's Mason-Dixon trophy with a go at the Void?

I rode it in  2008, and was registered last year. I finished well in 08 and hoping to do even better this time. Had to drop out of the Cape Fear this year, so I'm itching to do some rally riding Smile

I am. This is going to be my first bonus hunting rally like this, and my 4th long trip by bike. I will be starting from the PA location.

Make us proud, guys!

>Guitardad and I will be riding off somewhere in celebration of our 25th anniversary that weekend (yes, we've done the VOID as our anniversary celebration for the previous 5 years).

I had a great time. I rode with my dad from the Lexington start and we squeaked out 2nd place together(by 1 point!) You couldn't have asked for better weather this time of year. The roads were nice and I met a lot of great people.

Everyone made it back safe, although a 2-up team had an encounter with a cow on their goldwing. Fortunately they weren't seriously hurt, but the cow and the bike didn't fare so well.

This was my first Void rally, so I'm not sure what would qualify as "special." Scott is quite the character though.
