I thought Kawi did a great job with the Ninja 650R.  The Z1000 is a nice bike too, but the 650R does something for me in the looks dept. that the Z1000 will never do.  Voted 650R.

Z has motor all over the 650R.  I rented one in Maui and rode it around for the day; nice bike, if a little plasticky.  I could live with a Z, even if it is a little goofy lookin'.

Gotta be the Z1000 here.
