It was GREAT to see everyone and I really enjoyed spending time w/ all the members.  We have some of the nicest people on STN.

A special thanks to JustCallMeChris and JRazor for all of the doorprizes from the Podcast.

Also, a big thanks to Scratch for contributing the hydration packs.

Thanks to Maddjack for helping sign folks in and bringing nametags w/ him.

A special thanks to those who helped pay to rent the conference room!  (02VFR, Mr.Awesome, Fudge, Huron52, The Pace Podcast, Jimmy)

Finally, thanks to those of you who sharred a ride with me.  I really hope I can make it to next year's national meet.

On top of the thanks to those who put in the hours to organize this meet, I'd like to thank my roomie LtDaninBoca, for (in no particular order)
    • not being a redneck

    • having good taste in beer

    • not having voted for Palin/McCain

    • making phone calls and finding me a dealer who could install me a front tire for Colorado Dancer

Thanks to everyone who rode/drove in for the NATIONAL!  Bigok

Thanks to Mr. Awesome for leading a great ride on Tuesday and for letting me spend some time on his Triple!  Thumbsup

Thanks to CableBandit for proving wrong every "it's underpowered" and "it doesn't handle that great in the twisties" regarding WeeStroms. That guy should give clinics.   EEK!  Thumbsup

And thanks to R Doug for putting in all the work on so much of the logistics. Thanks to Colleen for all the Nikwax, and as mentioned, everyone else who chipped in to help organize or bring prizes.  Thumbsup

And thank you, West Virginia and Virginia and the US DOT for things like Rt. 39, Rt. 16, Parts of 219 and all the other great roads I've been on down there previously and may not have spent time on on this trip.  Inlove Inlove Inlove

Aside from thanking those who organized this meet relatively in my "back yard," a thanks to Sprint_ST and Mr. Awesome for letting me bunk with them (had some of the most interesting conversations with Sprint_ST in years....learned a lot of interesting stuff too).  Lots of great eats...managed to not gain any weight this trip.  Bigok

Thanks to Lady Luck for not going down twice on Rt. 16 (foot slipped off peg when I hit gravel which then jammed toe-first into the pavement) and Doug winning back his re-re-re-regifted DVD at Tuesday's dinner.  Lol

In spite of trouble with rain, we had good rides.  Two mechanical issues that I suspect will prove to be minor gremlins at best, and nobody (that I know of) wrecked or got tickets.  Cool

A huge thank you to everyone that put so much effort into making this an event to remember. Great people, great rodes, and southern accents with sweet tea. Don't get much better than that.

Having just discovered this thread - Thank you! To the organizers for making it all happen. To the sponsors for the door prizes ( emails to NE and NW to follow). To Scott and Jamie ( Avec Leon "LAcadian Riderrrr" ) for leading that awesome dual sporty ride we enjoyed....
    AND...
To my "roommate au Canadien" Corbeau:
For not being a typical "F*ckin Quebeker"
For waiting for me while I negotiated the twisties half as fast as he did...
For being as sarcastic and cynical (yet ever upbeat) as I imagine myself to be...
Everybody I met was friendly and helpful to me (a noob at the rally thing) which made a good time a GREAT one...
    Thanks!
