Alpinestars scout boots, size 12
«

nearly new, only worn a dozen or so times
12us
47euro
they are not compatible with my leg armor because of the height (not an in pant but a wear on leg type armor) they overlap and bump scooting the armor out of place.
280 retail
200 plus shipping (UPS) and paypal fees
other payment types are fine to avoid fees
pics soon

I was considering buying these but in a smaller size.
Why are you selling these.
Are they too thick to use with a sport bike (CBR1100xx)?

they just aren't compatible with my leg armor the top of the boot bumps the bottom of my short leg armor (knox cross lite) pushing it out of place on my knee when I walk.
they overlap a few inches on my long leg armor (knox cross max) and inhibit movement when walking and stopping at lights.
they felt a little bulky on my buell controls (maybe because they are not fully broken in yet), you might feel the same way on your blackbird but I'm not familiar with your bike enough to be sure. the toe is larger than my other riding boots (shift something or other) and when I first bought these I needed to adjust my shift linkage a bit so I could better get under it. (partly but not entirely due to a higher peg swapped in as well)
but the upside is they are very comfy and do very nicely at keeping your feet dry, a bit warm for hot summer days IMO but the lining is plush.
I am looking at a set of boots with hard armor in places and shorter

you didnt go with the TCX?
glad to hear you like them, if I wasn't so attached to my armor I would keep these for sure.
maybe I still will and make them my winter boots if nobody buys them.

New enough was out of the TCX when I needed them.
The Scouts work great on the DS machine, and OK on the XX.
