I have toyed with the notion of selling my 2005, But it does everything so well its hard to let her go. I just got back from 11 days on the road, 17 states, and a SS1000 in route. Rode over 4500 miles on her. I love my FJR. I stopped to check out a new helmet on the way home and the salesman tried to push a connie 14 on me. Not a chance. Too many shortcomings on the Connie 14. I will probally ride my FJR till the wheels fall off her.

Welp,
I love this place.  The FJR-dinstas are going to get up-in-arms now!  Isn't an FJR like a really big moped?  One of those 650 Burgmans?  That was my experience.  I've driven one.

So, this little Burgman has more power than your B12S  Twofinger

Mine is for sale... I just have a history of changing bikes every 3 years or so.  Nothing wrong with the FJR, just ready to try something else.  I'll bet a lot of folks are in the same boat, just ready to try something else.

Used FJR's what?

Is this thread about something belonging to a used FJR or something used belonging to an FJR? Headscratch

My friend just traded in his '09 C14 and '09 FZ1 for a '10 FJR.  Looks-wise, I actually like it more than the C14.

Actually the tassels go on the clutch and brake levers.

What's a clutch lever??   Headscratch   Lol

Nice job on the thread, Country.  Seems like some of the folks don't know you very well.   Bigsmile

Cheers,

Over here, they are called FJs.

They are also called "boring as fuck".

If it's boring you are likely doing it wrong (same goes for riding)

Yes, we all wish we had one....regrettably there are not enough to go around.  That is why I wonder why people are selling them.

Lets see...I had six beemers, managed to put over 50k on several of them.  Got rid of all of them finally.  Then I got rid of my old FJR because it was time for it's 78,000 valve check and I was too lazy to do it, after all, have to do them every 26,000 miles!  Oh, also got rid of it because it had a clutch lever....my new AE is everything the '04 was not and more.

So go ahead, ask me why I dumped...er....sold my beemers.
