We light the newbies on fire when the events are North of the Mason-Dixon line. You got lucky this time out.  Lol

Dam, and I was bringing 36 rolls of TP for kindling... Lol

I'm out, no rooms at any (not so) local motels and I'm not camping.

Check and post up in the room share thread. Most motels keep cots on standby for crashers, too, and I'm sure someone will have room.

Sorry Sarah—you better take me off the "Who's Coming" list.  Sad

It kills me to say it, but due to a convergence of events (missing  a planned weekend with my daughter at college and needing to reschedule it...plus really tight finances...plus being completely OUT of any kind of paid leave from work)...I'm gonna have to bail on ESTN.
 Sad

Looks like it'll be a great meet.
 Sad Sad

It's been a crappy summer for me for motorcycling.
 Sad Sad Sad

Chris/cablebandit, let me know you saw this (since we obviously won't be able to meet you in Staunton now).

On the bright side, if anyone needs a room, I made a reservation and haven't canceled it yet (just PM me).

Well Scott that sucks, but you gotta do what you gotta do.

We'll see you at the next one.  Do you want to start the Winter Meet ball rolling?  We've got to block out the scrapbookers and puzzlers.

If not I can start making some phone calls.

Evil! My cat will hide puzzle pieces from me. He's still angry about that whole neutering thing.

Scott, sorry you won't be at ESTN. I look forward to seeing y'all in January.

In addition to the dying cam chain tensioner, I now have an exam on the 13th.  Crazy  Looks like I will have to skip.  I hate to, but I even if I went I wouldn't have any fun knowing I have an exam on Monday.

Anybody want my room reservation?

I have to cancel.  I have been dreading this decision all week; as those of you who rode with me last week know.

I hate me - not my job or my boss - because this is really self-imposed, but I have too much project work on my plate right now.  I am asking other people to work & it wouldn't feel right for me if I didn't support the effort, especially if I was out having fun.  What really suks is that I postponed a trip to the Dragon in June because of project workload because I knew I'd get a second chance at ESTN when things were expected to ease up.  Not that you care, but now at least i feel better after whining about it.  And it's going to be f'ing perfect weather too.  Spent days working out my routes.  Even changed the oil in the Wee - she's been good to me - that's no way to treat 'er.  Well, at least I'll make some brownie points with the Wife when I tell her that I'd rather spend the weekend with her, at least until Saturday afternoon rolls around anyway, but I'll enjoy it while it lasts.  Not like there won't be any MC activity around here. I can go to Lansdale Bike Night for consolation.  10,000 trailer queens and enough chrome to build household plumbing fixtures for all the people in China and India too.  Whoa, am I in a good mood or what?  So anyway...

Anybody want my room reservation?  I got a second floor King bed.  Let me know, & I'll call & tell them to wait for your reservation before releasing the room.
