Those SEs aren't really all that loud. Now if you had repoed one with Vance and Hines Short Shots, you might have done all our ears a favor.

One thing I never understood about the whole Eagle/HD connection is that as far as I know (I'm not a wildlife expert) Eagles don't scream "potato potato potato" as loud as they possibly can. How do they make that stretch?

The new Screamin' Eagles are more like Farting Penguins... they're DOT approved, 90ish db. Kinda silly, IMO.

I repoed a Harley with Screaming Eagle pipes.
On Monday, I saw a shiny pick up truck, with a big HD emblem on the side, and a very shiny HD in the back. Also, on the side it said "recovery". Does that happen enough that there would be a vehicle dedicaed to that alone?

The last time my Buell took a dump, they sent a pickup with a hydraulic lift in the back. Folded out down to the ground, pushed the POS on to it and it lifted it right up into the bed of the truck. It looked well used.

Do the math. Have you ever seen the service department at a HD dealer.

My friend was just telling me about this way of moving a bike. Sounds better than pushing it up a ramp and strapping it down.

Gosh... more hate. Imagine that. When I bought a bike a few years ago, a used Honda Magna, the dealer dropped it off at my house. He used a pickup with a fold-up, hydraulic, full-width ramp. Nice setup. These kinds of vehicles and addons are everywhere. More non-Harley dealers should offer such quality pickup and dropoff services with dedicated vehicles.

I know someone with a brand new BMW that had a bad battery, dealer sent a truck with a big BMW logo on it to pick it up. Had a fold down ramp, hydraulic, etc. I guess every single BMW is a POS too based on that truck?
Oh and have you ever seen the service areas for top of the line BMW, Mercedes, Audi, Nissan, Toyota, Lexus, Honda etc dealers? HUGE, PRISTINE and some of them are open 7 days a week, some near NYC are open 24 hours a day, some even have their own flatbed tow trucks, guess all those cars are POS too right?
Yet my Chevy dealer doesn't have a flatbed and his service area is open 8-4, 5 days a week and is run down and small, that must mean Chevy's are the best made cars in the world according to the logic here, right?
Come on, grow the hell up or at least use logic that passes third grade muster.

I do believe JonS was asking about HDs being Repo'd. At least that is the usual meaning of Recovery when seen on the side of a tow truck (pickup in this case). I've seen the trucks reposesing cars in Philly and they all had some sort of Recovery badge on them somewhere.

Fair point. I bought a BMW motorcycle to part out. It had been repoed.
