Yeah not all of them were mechanical failures.  There were actually very few mechanical failures overall.

there were few DNFs due to mechanical failures. there were several mechanical failures where the rider still finished. at least one of those got a different bike to finish.

I'm finally home! I'll post up some sort of ride report in a day or two. Of course work is calling too  Rolleyes and it's gonna be very hard to go back to that schedule.

Since I've been on the road approaching a month, I haven't processed most of my ride yet. When I'm riding far from home I try and keep focused on the task at hand. Still, I'm surprised at how vivid the memories have been already. I'm dreaming about the rally every night and I remember each state quite well.

Alex all kidding aside, I was really pulling for you on that rotary.  What a cool way to ride the rally.   Well at least to this armchair rider it was.

Not sure if you guys know how many people were following the Spotwalla page.  I think it almost a million hits by the end of the rally.   The FRJ forum did a great job keeping us all up to date on the rally progress too.

Great job to everyone that rode.
