26* at 6AM. Heated gear rocks. I was AWAKE when I got to work this morning. Had to ride, as there are only 4-6 weeks of riding left this year.

Nice to be retired, can drink coupla coffees in leisurely fashion, & can wait 'til 10 when it's a bit warmer for the day's ride.   Bigok

Today and yesterday...just above freezing (36 yesterday, 38 today) when I left for work.  Have broke out the full leather jacket and liner, a fleece, and my fleece neck gaiter.  Haven't broken out the heated stuff yet.  I'll save that for the 20s hehe.

I rode to the voting polls to vote at 8AM. A bit chilly! Sad

Rode later in the day to meet a friend for lunch in Fenton. Much better!

Rode to vote yesterday, and rode to work today. Actually, today was the warmest ride in I've had for a while. It was (get this) ABOVE the freezing point of water. I know, right?

So I had Wed. off and the weather looked good, highs in the upper 40's low 50's and sunny! I put on 266 miles  riding around Da Nort Woods. I headed over towards Lakewood then made my way down to Kashena with a nice run down and back up on the newly repaved section of Hwy. 55 that runs along the Wolf River through the Menominee Indian Res. It was warm enough that the heated grips were all that was needed to keep the chill away. It was just one of those Rides that's great to get in this late in the season! Even did a little two tracking.http://i118.photobucket.com/albums/o117/Hinterlan/DSC01330.jpghttp://i118.photobucket.com/albums/o117/Hinterlan/DSC01328.jpghttp://i118.photobucket.com/albums/o117/Hinterlan/DSC01327.jpghttp://i118.photobucket.com/albums/o117/Hinterlan/DSC01326.jpghttp://i118.photobucket.com/albums/o117/Hinterlan/DSC01331.jpg
