Hey, would that have been you that I saw in Iron Mountain over the 4th of July weekend? That RC-51 looks familiar... Smile
Yep, that would be me. I live just over the river in Niagara WI.

Mags and I got to play hooky again and hit Starved Rock at a spirited pace. Barely a car on the road. Smile

Too funny.  I was in the Starved Rock area this afternoon too.   Lol

I went through there between 1-2 on the way to Jeremiah Joe's coffee shop in Ottawa.  Where I happened to run into Jeff.  Then I headed home and passed by Starved Rock again around 3.

We must've been on orbit around each other. Lol

We tried to stop at Cajun Connection, but it was closed. We ended up at a pretty good tavern in Utica instead.

Mountain biking today if the rain holds.

No, just running on winter hours.  We got there just about noon, and they don't open until 4 on Fridays.

It's been a short season for me as you know. But I've had many good rides and camping trips along the way.  Without the R4 riders it would have been a tough yr.

Sadly my season is over. For many years I've just taken a break between snow falls, but I broke an ankle this week.  So I am going to have my son change the oil, stabil the gas and fog the motor this afternoon.

Heal fast and well.  There's always next year for more exploration.

Warm 'n safe sells socks, not sure if they are compatible with gerbings. Tourmaster has insoles too.

Nothing like a new set of tires to put the " Woo Hoo" back in a ride. I celebrated my new tires with a 430 mile total for this weekend. Bigsmile

I rode yesterday with the High Road Riders out of Willow Creek.  I signed up for it weeks ago.  We went to Watertown, Wi and ate at the Cotton Exchange.  It's a good thing that I only ate an apple that morning.

Not today, hadda drop some cable boxes off for exchange.  Tomorrow for sure. The GS is nearly on walk, so it should be an adventure trying to find gas at 5am.
