It had rained all night and was 39 deg. this morning so I figured it was a perfect morning to ride into work. The Thrux seems to run better on cold wet mornings. Must be its British heritage  Bigok

After sending off a resume this morning i had a taste for some hot dogs. so i headed out to one of my favorite hot dog stands. "Q's" on IL47 between Jericho rd and US30

Made run down to Starved Rock.

Lunch was in the small park area in front of lodge.  Tree and me shadows.

Saw a fox or two.

Lotsa folk showed up on the deck at rear of lodge for a bit of Fall sun and refreshments.

It was cold this morning! I had ice on my seat.

But it beats scraping the windshield of a cage, so I rode to work anyway.

Rode with Oddball. Awesome ride, good to meet everyone. After riding with cruisers for a while, that was a great change of pace- and I do mean pace.

I rode to work today for the first time in I don't know how long.  It was nice, especially since most of the construction is finished on 355 ad the Ike extension. Banana

Good day of riding.  Enjoyed company of some ole friends, opportunity to meet some new (to me) riders, and intro'd to some roads in Galena area.
