I think that's great! That would be a ride report for me seeing as my ride to work is 4 miles each way  Lol

Mine used to be 10 miles with four (yes 4) turns, including the one out of my driveway and into the business.  I guess you could say 5 if I include turning into the parking space.  I'm happy with my 28 miles during riding season - in the truck not so much.

I'm going from a 4 turn, 10 mile trip to a 30 mile with 3 stop signs and 3 stop lights.  But it'll be good to just get back to work.

I went to the rock with some clsb'ers.  The pace was perfect for the twisties.  It was nice out, maybe a little less wind would have made it better.

I logged around 150 miles today, mostly this morning.  The rear tire saw more asphalt today than the front.  Whoops!

EaglesWings and I took the afternoon off yest. and meandered out of town for our first ride in the country.
Went basically SW out of Milw. and went on what ever road looked interesting on the GPS.
Saw a lot of horses and some nice big houses that the leaves usually hide.
Bluff road between Mukwonago and LaGrange has been re-paved, but has some brand new gravel in most of the curves.  And they're doing some sort of forestry work in the area, so quite a few big trucks.
We confirmed that her low fuel light works.  And her four-way-flashers (turned on by mistake).
Not sure of the mileage, but 4.5 hours of riding.
Should have come back sooner to avoid rush hr back into Milw., in the dark, sorry about that hun.

Took the GSXR 1000 out for a ride and did The Animal Loop. It's a 200 mile ride that goes by two White tail deer farms, two Buffalo farms one ostrich farm, didn't see any out this time and one Red Stag farm! The deer pic didn't turn out to well. To the right of the shed you can make out the Huge white rack though.http://i118.photobucket.com/albums/o117/Hinterlan/DSC01344-1.jpghttp://i118.photobucket.com/albums/o117/Hinterlan/DSC01342-1.jpghttp://i118.photobucket.com/albums/o117/Hinterlan/DSC01345-1.jpghttp://i118.photobucket.com/albums/o117/Hinterlan/DSC01346-1.jpg

Was a great day for really riding together, and not just practice. Although I (we) did figure out some things I DO need to practice more. Traffic in rush hour is one of those things. But overall, it was very fun and wonderful to be able to get out before snow flies (yuck).

Great pics. We had an old Army Depot in upstate NY by Romulus that had it's share of white deer. Was neat to see them here in your picture. Thanks for posting.

I was out on Bluff Road last night also. The turn where they are doing the forestry work was good for a bit of pucker factor when I came over the hill and saw all that gravel. I think I have only missed riding one day in the last month. As long as they haven't salted the roads yet I am good to go.

I wasn't gonna drive to work today because I was going to sign out some tools for the weekend, but..... I had me some serious back spasms (the kind that drop you to one knee  Crazy) last night and, ya see my back handles the bike a lot better than the car. I guess you could say I was forced to ride today. Doctor's orders  Lol Thumbsup

Got out for a couple more rides before Fridays winter mix hits Rolleyes  Took the RC-51 out with it's leaky fork seal and all for a 100 miler into the U.P. and back. Then swapped bikes and did a 100 loop on the Valkyrie. Those two are worth it for their soundtracks alone Drool     http://i118.photobucket.com/albums/o117/Hinterlan/DSC01349.jpg                                                                                   On the bridge over the Menominee River.

Hey, would that have been you that I saw in Iron Mountain over the 4th of July weekend? That RC-51 looks familiar... Smile
