470 mile tune up ride.    Time to start prepping for the big ride in a couple weeks.  All went well until my rt shoulder tendonitis flared up at about 400 miles.  Ouch!

I got out for a couple hours this afternoon.
I intended to go longer, but a friend stopped by right before I was going to go.
And then about an hour out, the wind shifted and the temps started falling.  And kept going.

No riding today, 'though that was the intent. Instead spent the day with younger son installing a tail tidy on his SV.

As usual, any moto-related task takes twice the time you think it ought. Who writes the (lack of) instructions for these things? Bash  After much consternation, misplaced parts and re-doing, we got it sorted, and he's happy with the results.... and that's all that counts!

Not anymore.  I got the new kit in this weekend but got thei first decent ride in today.  *Really* stretched her legs- I raced some sporty BMW 4 door.  No idea what number.  We won.   Inlove  I don't usually do that, but the highway was nearly empty, I came on it and passed him, he matted it and passed me, game on.  I love my Bandit.   Inlove

on my way to meet "Monkey", cruising down Dexter Trail road a GSXR was following me till he got bored just going 10 over. I heard him ramp up and watched him come by me with the nose in the air. "Game On" was playing in my headphones but the locals got to hear two bikes in the high 10,000's for the next few miles. I think he was surprised that he couldn't pull away! I thought that he may think I was Road Raged, so I backed off a few car lengths till we came to a stop sign and I gave him a nod. (as I reached back and turned on the NOS bottle) "Game On"

Went to Dunham's via car yesterday to buy inexpensive sunglasses.  Got home to find they polarized thru helmet visor.

Rode back to Dunham's with bike. Took visor into store to find a comfortable pair that looked good thru the visor.  Bought pair.

Took pair out for 110 miles of 'testing'.  Rode around Wind Lake, Waterford, Muskego area.  Had fun, got cold, went home to warm wife.

Wanted to go fishing back in Elkader, rigged the tackle box and two poles on the back of the LT.  Sure, it looks like I have four big antennas instead of two, but what better way to have fun, driving to have fun. Smile  Did about 250 miles, the ride got a bit longer on the way home for some reason....

I hear you there.  When the day is done and the bike is up on the center stand I'll tip a few.

In 30+ years i can count on one hand how many drinks i've  had when riding.

catch anything?  I sometimes pack a telescopic rod when on road trip just in case I see some water of interest.  Always riding in remote places so tons of places where I bet not a line has been thrown into Smile

Works great for the golf bag too Bigok

In the four years I have been on two wheels, I have never mastered drinking when riding because that silly full-face helmet gets in the way.

Did commute to work today.  What a difference in riding toward the East at 7am into a bright Sun now that it has risen more and more each day!

Plan to take much, much longer getting home since the Wife is visiting her Mom after school tonight.  Smile
