Not hardly! He was locked in a small room and forced to watch Wayne Newton sing his favorite hits for hours.

Glad STN is back. Missed it. Sadly, the weather here in NY is getting to the point where riding is hit or miss. The old FJR will hibernate pretty much til spring. Regards to all.

I'd be okay with that, coz it would mean I wouldn't need to hear his voice. But who knew Tom Waits knew sign language?

And when he's done with that, he has to listen to our Fearless Leader practicing his Vocabulary Word of the Day. Today's was "foment."
Imagine the horror - having to hear "fo-maint" over and over again in that dullard quasi-Texan accent of his.

Rockin poetry with a raspy voice !!!
A cab combs the snake,
Tryin' to rake in that last night's fare,
And a solitary sailor
Who spends the facts of his life like small change on strangers...
Paws his inside P-coat pocket for a welcome twenty-five cents,
And the last bent butt from a package of Kents,
As he dreams of a waitress with Maxwell House eyes
And marmalade thighs with scrambled yellow hair.
Her rhinestone-studded moniker says, "Irene"
As she wipes the wisps of dishwater blonde from her eyes
And the Texaco beacon burns on,
The steel-belted attendant with a 'Ring and Valve Special'...
Cryin' "Fill'er up and check that oil"
"You know it could be your distributor and it could be your coil."
The early mornin' final edition's on the stands,
And that town cryer's cryin' there with nickels in his hands.
Pigs in a blanket sixty-nine cents,
Eggs - roll 'em over and a package of Kents,
Adam and Eve on a log, you can sink 'em damn straight,
Hash browns, hash browns, you know I can't be late.
And the early dawn cracks out a carpet of diamond
Across a cash crop car lot filled with twilight Coupe Devilles,
Leaving the town in the keeping
Of the one who is sweeping
Up the ghosts of Saturday night...

Wow dred. You are the same thoughful person you were on the old server. You must have thought all of two hours to come up with that witty comeback. I'm very impressed. Keep 'em coming.

While running the risk of getting things back to the Thread subject matter (
) , does anyone actually know what DID happen ??
Can the cause or location of the trouble ever be found ??
And what would the culprit actually gain from such an act ??

He is in my "busy little shop of horrors" reading every post
ever containing the words "V-45, belt drive and mercy"
He will never hack again.

Seriously, bob. This ain't PO, and it wasn't a political post. Finding a public figure's voice irritating isn't political. Making fun of a public figure's intellect or lack thereof isn't poitical either. If it WERE, everything to do with Britney Spears would have to be posted in PO from now on, and that would be recockulous. Now, if we wanted to discuss Ms. Spears' policy towards the Venezuelans, then sure. PO all the way.
You coulda taken me to task over it not being "bike related" but since others had taken the thread off track many posts before me, you'd have had to take them to task as well.
Just pointing things out that are hard for you to fathom, but to anyone else with half a brain are IOttMCO.
HTH.
Back on track, maybe if we caged the hacker up with JB, replaced JB's thorazine prescription with methamphetamine, and locked them away for a few days...
nah. too cruel, even for the scum who wrecked the board.
