In that they are becoming jacked up, over exposed, trite, and tiresome in book/movie/comic form.

We need to add two new threads to OT
Enough with the damn vampires
Enough with the damn zombies

What's next?  Enough with the damn...

Oh, and while we're talking, can we eliminate all FJR discussions?

Thanks.

KLR is the new FJR.

All TLA bikes are to be banned.

No. if anything, vampires are becoming the new zombies.  Zombies have always been cool.  Vampires were always fighting the werewolves for the spotlight.  Somewhere along the line vampires became cool (if your 19 or younger).  Now people think vampires are the shit.   Wrong.  Zombies can survive on all flesh, preferring brains.  Vampires rely on blood, and can only hunt at night.  Zombies will always have the the advantage looking for sustanance.

Werewolves are the ones that have gotten the shit end of the stick.

Order of coolness:

Zombies
Vampires
Jay Leno fans
Werewolves
BMW riders
Shah
Mummies

Does that mean new zombie movies will be homoerotic with bare chested zombies running in packs?

If that's the future of the genre, they can film the San Francisco Marathon and splice it in the film.

Werewolves never go out of style.  No one questions if you're gay because of your glitter, and you needn't fear that any essential body parts will rot off.
