Has there been an alternative organizer for CRR/STN for June 8th?

Please let me know. At the moment, we have not seen any new registrations for the CRR/STN event since the last email, about 5 or so. I need to catch up with the organizer to discuss options, in the event we do not reach the goal for your own session (30 committed riders) and see if there is still interest without you at the helm. I hope so......

Please let me know who I should contact and I will work to fire up the CRR/STN event.  "

  There will be folks there, maybe not as many as in previous years. A few of us are already signed up, and looking forward to a great day.  Maybe most are waitng 'till the last minute, to see what the weather will be and to see what the finances will be.  But for some of us, we are ready to GO!

Please post here that you registered, so we can start rider count.  as with last year we need to get at least 20 to have our own group and 30 in order to not have anyone possibly added to our group if the even sells out in other groups

Anybody looking for something to do this weekend, come on down Sunday May 22nd and watch some CCS races. I will be racing in 4 categories. But more importantly there will be really fast guys there to watch. Blackhawk is a real cool track to spectate cause it is smaller than Road America and you can get to many different corners easily. Concession stand has pretty good coffee too.

Anyone gonna camp? That's my plan.

If there's fewer than 20 of us, I assume we get put into the Beginner / Intermediate / Advanced groups. Not a big deal. Track riding is really a personal thing, you don't interact with other riders on the track anyway. I will probably ask to be put in the Intermediate group if there's room and if they will allow me to place myself.

Ugh, I officially can't make this, as I'll be travelling for work.  I hear MVs don't like the track anyway, so no loss for me.

Still don't have a bike that's properly sorted and still waiting on HR to get my life insurance bumped to a proper level.  IF I can get those two things taken care of by the 8th Ill be there and will likely camp.  
If not Ill miss this event for the first time.

I thought Road America was THIS weekend? Or at least I know 2 guys that are going there this weekend.

Like Jai said...... I will be riding RA with STT on Monday. Jai wil be driving up on Monday evening.  We ride RA on Tuesday, then drive like crazy to BHF. Plan on getting there around 8pm. Camping, and then riding BHF on Wednesday.   Gosh I hope i can walk after this..... well that doesn't matter.... just so I can ride.      I'll be the guy eating all if the IBprofen.  I plan on camping on the other side of the showers, just so I'm under some trees.... I'm gonna need some shade.

I think, since there are only a few of us STNer's, that we should just blend into there Intermediate group. That way everyone gets 20 min. sessions.
