So...........
Is newly anointed scooter trash allowed to show up for this thing?
I might try to drag a non-forum member out from Redding on his Versys and camp for a couple of nights.
If we both show up we can turn it into a truly royal gathering!

Considering that it has a higher top speed than my Sportster had, I'm thinking it would probably be okay.

Now THAT would be sweet! Majesty's all around.
In fact, let's find a bunch of other scooter owners and outnumber the bikes!! We'll turn it into the WCSM (West Coast Scooter Meet)

It was May last year, wasn't it? I remember thinking "Why the hell are we having this in MAY???"
Yeah, it was May, and they had some record cold snap. I remember leaving early on the Sunday morning -- as I went over the mountains with the wet roads and the temp display on my bike flashing 32F, I spent a lot of time thinking about things like static and kinetic friction, gyroscopic forces, throttle control etc.

What does WCRM stand for. "West Coast ..."
Details in the past have included reserving a room at either the Super 8 or Holiday Inn and meeting up with everyone at Eel River Brewing that Saturday night. People generally come Friday night, go for a ride on Saturday, BS Saturday night and head home Sunday

For those who are new and would like a peek of the WCRM in its prime and in the past, I've put all of my pics on SmugMug (
http://dantesdame.smugmug.com/MotorcycleTrips-1/STN-WCRM
. I put links back to my website at the top of each page, in case you want to read a back story or something.
This page includes WCRM I - WCRM VI, and a .5 somewhere in there
You might gather some ideas of routes to/from (if you're coming from the north) as well a day-ride ideas. Notice the spectacular weather
Anyway, I'm sorry to miss it again. It was always great fun to make the trek there and see my digital friends
Ride safe!
