Well, I'm not going to make the WCRM this year. Contributing factors being budget, the bike running rough (valves hopefully) and my statement from last year of "I'm not going again unless it's in July or August!!!" hehe. Seriously, I froze my ass off last year. Hopefully it will be better for you guys this year. Vented leathers and no heated gear make for a chilly opus.
I'll miss you guys. Endo, we need to chat about meeting up on your way north. Maybe I can meet you part way or something if the bike is running good.

Your northern and southern sections look pretty good. I would be skipping the inland legs, especially Portland. You can get beer anywhere, and even though Portland has many decent breweries, I personally wouldn't be able to enjoy them during a ride unless I was spending the night very close by.
For the trip down, I've ridden I-5 to Grants Pass, then 299 to Crescent City. I've done I-5 to Longview, 30 to Astoria, and down 101. I've taken I-5 past Portland, then cut over to Lincoln City, and down 101.
These all include taking I-5 out of Washington because I like to depart by 3:00am when it's just me and the truckers, and I can get the first couple hundred miles out of the way, plus getting through the greater Portland area before the morning rush hour. After that, I have the rest of the day to cover the last 450 miles or so, arriving in Fortuna and the Eel River Brewing Co before happy hour is over.
I also leave for Fortuna on Thursday, getting there in one day. This leaves all day Friday for some leisurely riding on the local roads before the bulk of STN'ers start arriving in the late afternoon.

You need to rethink how you are getting from Grant's Pass to the coast. The road from 199 to 96 is primitive at best and may not be open due to snow. I wouldn't recommend it on your RF 900.
Either take 199 from GP to Crescent City or take I-5 to Yreka then 96/299/101 to Eureka.
