Inexpensive bike stand

For you that have real dirt bikes i found this stand at harbor freight for $34.99 and i had a 20% off so i walked out for $30.65 with tax.

The quality looks good and all the welds were clean.

 1 huge problem with it Ed....you have to LIFT the bike! I have an Ogio 180. You just run over it and up goes your bike. A little expensive but keeps you from blowing out your back/legs all the time. To me this type of stand should be $30......  It's 1970s tech....essentially a steel milk crate like we sat our CZs on! If you used a 180 you would not go back to this type, OR the pump lever type.

Jeez......if ya can't lift a dirt bike onto the stand perhaps a rocking chair is more your speed. I watch a brand new YZ450 fall off one of those ride-on stands. Not for me.

 Nothing wrong with a good rocker thatguy! Besides that 70 CZ only weighed about 220 and my DRZ400 is more like 300lbs. I need all the help I can get putting these things in the air and Ogio answered that question...."shouldn't this be easier by now?". I have never had a bike fall off this stand. The guys bike that fell must have not been on the level or even close.

True. Not in my shop however.

I've got 3 of them, they work great.

The other stands are OK for the shop, but for real world use such as at the track or at a race you wont see them!

If your blowing out your back and legs putting a bike on a stand, you got other things you need to get focused on!

  No need to blow out your backs or legs anywhere, anymore with the latest tech Sprocket. At the races you just hook a tie-down strap to your truck and to the crossbar of the bike. Let's see....where is that old metal milk-crate with the 2X12 chunk bolted to the top of it? We should re-market those. They were cheap-  and you could put stuff in them to take to the races too.

At home I use the lever type, works great. Anywhere else I just use the kickstand?
