While this is most likely the outcome based on previous conversations, this poll should make it Official

Thing is this isn't voters choice.  This is your choice.  If it was voters choice there wouldn't be 4 dates up there.  People would just reply with the dates that they like.

BTW: Who can vote?  Does voting indicate a commitment if its held on that date?  If not then you shouldn't be allowed to vote.  If you vote for a date and don't show up then you suck.

As for "who can vote" - technically anyone can. However, I'd hope that people would use the honor system and only vote if they think there's va chance they'll be able to make it

It's not my choice, I haven't voted yet.  I would rather have the meet in late August or early September when the weather is better.  I do however agree with Dante about the tradition of the meet including the time and date.   I picked some dates around your date and included a couple of later dates because some people expressed an interest in a slightly later date because of the weather.  It looks like the date you picked and then canceled and want to reinstate will be the the date anyway, so what's your probelm?  You said you were done with it so I thought I'd take a crack at getting something going.  I think it would be a shame to let something as cool as the WCRM die out because you don't like other people having an opinion about it.

That maneuver is called "Grandstanding" The intention behind it has been met...to get people to actually start paying attention to the WCRM and the couple of details that need to be worked out.

I rarely post in MC forums anymore, but still cruise them to consider riding in to a well-planned meet. By well-planned I mean one where the date and location is pinned down. The rest takes care of itself if I choose to go.

Clearly there are enough people freeing up time to plan a WCRM, which I greatly appreciate, BUT regarding basics (date and location) and after having read all the threads I've got to ask:

And when it's pinned down, I would be willing to pay real cash money to anyone who would consolidate and/or kill the other subforms and threads... just to save the next guy/girl the hassle of having to find what is the real deal.
