Last night was the annual indoor enduro at the civic center here. I couldn't participate as I have a torn ACL (not that I was ever all that competitive, but it is a lot of fun!!). So instead I picked up my riding buddy Thore, you may remember he is the one whoe suffered a spinal cord injury on one of our thursday night rides and is now a quadraplegic. We watched the races with Al (ACL surgery the day before), Lee (recovering from a shattered ankle), and Donny (ankle injury). Thore commented that maybe motorcycles are dangerous?? not sure what he's talking about????
anyway the races were great and a local boy won. We drank a few beers, laughed like fools and had an all around great time, almost as fun as riding. Still not sure what Thore was talking about on that bikes being dangerous thing?????

the above opinion is simply that of an average middle aged hick with one too many brain injuries... or, don't take it too serious.
