Thanks so much guys.  We're fine in the north island but broken-hearted for the Christchurch people, especially as it's only 6 months since the last one. They didn't even know there was a fault line until the last quake.  Our daughter's godmother lives there.  Had a brief text saying all her family are ok but her battery was giving out so no chance to check on her property.

As there's only just over 4 million of us, it's like it happened to family so there'll be no lack of support - we're pretty resilient.  Heartfelt thanks to our mates the Aussies, the USA and the British who already have urban search and rescue teams on the way.  It's moving beyond words.

Thanks mate,  Christchurch starting the rebuliding, death toll 180.  The whole country has pulled together is has been amazing tosee.

Feel for the Japanese, just shocking.  They were the first ones  here after the Aussies, to help with searh and rescue. Great people.

Special note to the Aussies for there amazing support just brilliant.
