Very interesting concept, but a little heavy and a little underpowered to be much more than a very nice alternative:

Hmmm... wonder where he sourced the exhausts... Rolleyes

His last version was a catfish-eyed 916... now it's a R1-tailed 999.

This iteration is much better-looking than his previous one, though, I'll give it that.

I mean, you have your rip-offs and then you have your rip-offs, and this guy ripped Ducati off *large* to say the least, ie 999/916. A touch of VFR rads and '07 R-1 looking exhaust for good measure and you have an AMERICAN design.  Headscratch Oh well, he must have HD's blessing to get their Revolution engine. Maybe HD is testing the waters to see how they sell in order to then maybe bring them into the fold ala Buell  so HD can offer superbike/ST lines with their cruisers and Buell off-road/hooligan bikes in the same showroom at some point. Nice colour though.  Smile

First the Fischer then this.

But there is anyone stupid enough to buy on of these things?

This is just trash. Compared to this or a to a Fischer a Hyosung GT650 is more desirable than an MV Agusta

What an asshole. EEK!

Why didn't he just put the word Ducati on the side?

But it has an Harley motor.  Oh boy!!!

I bet that bike will sell a lot to the Harley masses. Headscratch

I don't think the HD company is very heavily involved in this process. They do seel their engines "over the counter" as it were. I think you can order a Revolution crate motor from your local dealership.

Let's not forget we can purchase this bike for the amazing price of $39,000.  Why is it double the price of the Duc 1098S?  Well, if I had to explain, you wouldn't understand...   Lol Twofinger

It does look like this was pieced together from 3-4 different existing bikes.  I suppose, like in writing, if you copy one bike it is plagiarism and if you copy several...its research.  I dunno...   Headscratch

Cheers,

Joe

HD is amazing that way. You can buy whole engines or every piece.
The reason I mention it is because HD is mentioned in the promotional materials so I figure they had to sign-off on the project to in effect lend their name.
