Went down for the first time last year. Going to try and make plans to do the same several times this year, this being one of them. Great roads and beautiful scenery.

Hmmp.. this sounds interesting. Any ride routes planned yet? I have done quite a bit of riding in SE Ohio. Awesome roads....I will not book aroom but will proly camp somewhere.Although why do I think this interferes with the Hayabusa in the hills rally?

Yes, there are several routes planned already, but I haven't posted them yet. I was waiting for the Potomac Highlands meet to be over before starting to hype ESTN. I hope to get a really nice day soon and head out there to record several hours of video of the best roads.

Went for a day ride in SE Ohio today, I am happy to report the roads I were on today were all in good shape, most of these roads were repaved last year and made it thru the winter just fine....  There was some gravel in the slow right handers (which is normal for SE Ohio).  I was on 313, 566, 147, 148, 26, 556, 255, 26, 537, 260, 78

Thx Jack.  You just saved me ~$16. Smile  IOU Beerchug  Cancelled the reservation I made in April for $64.80 per night & re-booked at the AARP rate.

I did a scouting run to eastern Ohio yesterday to check on the condition of some roads for a northern loop. I should have a first set of routes ready to publish soon.

Anyone out there have graphics/art skills for a T-shirt design? I think combining a roller coaster, the number "555", and a motorcycle (as the roller coaster car) might work with a theme of "Buckeye Roller Coaster". Or something cheesy like that. Once you ride the roads, you will understand the roller coaster theme.

At this point I am not looking into a group dinner. I figure groups will self=form and head off to whatever local restaurants catch their fancy.

So we have a date, a hotel, a lot of great routes (soon), and a T-shirt idea.

I also had an idea for an ESTN Photo Tag contest of some sort. Person who grabs the most tags from a list wins a little prize. Have to think this one through. Just an idea for something different to do for the Saturday ride.
