Ha!, right back at ya bro.
Working on the pics, unfortunately don't have one of you. Though, a warning for the rest of the people out there in case you run across this fool...
. The speeds achieved on bumpy twisty backroads on his big beasty barge-like R1200RT is unnatural.

Pics of me are best deleted.
Think the RT is a barge? You should have seen the LT....
Got home yesterday, 3200 miles and only 100 of rain.

Damn dude that's just beautiful. The scenery looks great too. Feelin' a little green myself.
Glad you didn't get caught by the funnel clouds or the LEOs.

..Glad you didn't get caught by the funnel clouds or the LEOs.
Yeah, got a couple of radar detector saves on Deals Gap, one on Sunday to Tennessee, and one on Friday near the end of the trip back to Robbinsville, other than that not many leo encounters during the whole 10 day trip. Did a couple trips over the Cherohala Skyway both on Saturday mornings mostly doubling or more the speed limit and not a leo in sight...

What's your vacation daze looking like?
Can you pull off a mid-September loop of California?
It's a great time of the year, after all the kids have gone back to school.
Loop starting from Los Angeles, up through Trinity Alps and back with all the best roads is about a week...
You only need to add days to get here and back from Chi town...

What? 10 days just for deer season?
Don't get me wrong, I'm all for killing deer.
But still, I'm sure if you were packing, I could lead you on some roads where you could kill deer 'while you're riding', just a bit North of San Francisco...

Rick, how 'bout a comparison between the riding out this way and the roads back in Cali. My wife and I will be doing three days (not enough, I know) of touring northern califorinia back roads this July so I'd be interested in a comparison.
