Heading to Northern MN tomorrow for a 8am Sat. start.  We should have a nice cool rainy start for the first 8-10 hours of our ride down.  The shortest route is ~1525 miles with around 250 of that on 2 lane in MN and then South of New Orleans. Hoping for an uneventful 22.5 hrs in the saddle.  Looks like there are 10 of us signed up for the 24 hr gold option.  Should be a fun way to burn some gas.

We had a nice successful ride, all 10 participants made it in under 24hrs.  Not bad for a 1524 mile ride.  Some stayed down there and some took off towards home right away.  I Took a nice easy 1800 mile return home over the last couple days and got in 8 more smoke chasing states.
