Pass this video on to fellow riders/forums. Assholes like this shouldn't share the roads.

How fast was everyone going?
Regardless, the truck crossed the center line, even in blind corners.

Just looking at the video I could tell he was trying to keep the cyclist from passing but in his attempt to back the biker off could have killed the guy. Then at the end from conversation it was evident he was trying that. What got me was when he was across the line and the cyclist coming the other direction he could have hit head on! Anyway.................the videowill get both. One for road rage and endangerment and the motorcyclist for passing on a double yellow!

That's why I avoid some of the more well known motorcycle roads around here. That video looks like it was filmed on 22 in NKY. There are so many bikes from Louisville, Cincinnati, and Lexington, that it is becoming hazardous to your health to ride these roads. There was a report a few years back of someone putting oil in a corner on 22 and causing a wreck because someone gone off road and into the yard, barely missing the daughter of the home owner.
In no way do I condone the attempted murder of a biker by swerving, but that's why I avoid a lot of these roads

That whole situation is messed up. The guy in the truck was way out of line and all involved were obviously well above the speed limit.
Did that guy in the truck come out with a firearm? The video was grainy so it was hard to tell what he had in his hand.

I live in Alexandria, KY not far from wear 22 starts in NKY (you are right that video is of KY 22). The story of the oil is also a true story and the homeowner told the police he did it when they asked him. He was prosecuted but only for a misdemeanor, if I remember correctly. Kyrex might remember more. The video looks like it was shot closer to Louisville (I'm guessing Ballardsville-Smithfield area)
You are correct about both the first motorcyclist and the pick-up drive would be cited. The motorcyclist would only get only ticket the pu driver could receive a variety of charges with the most serious being attempted vehicular homicide. If I was the arresting officer I'd start with the most serious charge I could and let the DA downgrade it if he/she wants to..
This is another reason I don't and won't ride with video (not that I do anything majorly wrong, but I do exceed the speed limit on occasion). Last year the Boone County Sheriff's department used video shot by one rider to prosecute a group of local riders (of course they should of been prosecuted). They were splitting lanes, pulling wheelies, doing stunts on the Interstate in heavy traffic.

I think he had a tire iron. You'd be amazed at how many people carry a tire iron or baseball bat under their seats for special occasions.

So anyone know what fate befell the ill tempered truck driver?

From chatter on some local forums, I believe that nothing has yet to come from this. The videoer (video-er, videor?) doesn't want to send in the video becasue he doesn't want his buddy to get into trouble for passing on the DY

Personally, I'd turn it over to the police. Pay the fine for DY pass, but make sure the truck dude was ticketed for each crossing of the DY, in addition to the road rage, reckless driving and attempted vehicular homocide (he clearly intended to swerve at rider).
Then, once the douche bag was convicted of any one of the the charges, I'd sue him for PTSD and take his truck, his ATV and his pig---nothing hurts worse than taking a guy's SO.

IMO that video proves nothing more than negligent driving. Personally I certainly believe the driver was trying to block the pass.
Lucky no one was hurt either during the incident or at the confrontation.
