You sure that wasn't the sound of all the generators and water pumps running after the storms.
On topic, that explains why the lodging rates are so high this weekend. I checked a super 8 in tomahawk and it was $100.00 a night Friday and Saturday. Sunday it drops to $55.00 a night.
