I assume they are wanting to move the leftovers out before possibly bringing the new V-4 to the states. Whatever the reason its a hell of a deal on a great naked bike.

$7,499 is an incredible price, but I assume that is "worst-case" for a leftover 2007.  I wonder what the more current non-current Tuonos will sell for?

AF-1 in Texas has listed a 2009 Ice White Tuono for $7999.00 as of yesterday.

Dave at Moto International in Seattle has a 2008 with 1,500 miles on it and full two year warranty (demo bike) for $6,500.

And he told me that he has anther one coming in from another dealer that's even a little cheaper!  Unbelievable.  

He's got new zero mile ones, too, that are in the $7,500 range which seems like about the price where Aprilia is getting rid of all the V-twin bikes.

This is filet mignon for the price of beef jerky.   The V-twin Tuono is one of the all time great bikes.

There is no reason to pay over 7k for a late model, low mileage used example IMO.

My local Honda dealer is alsop a Husky dealer.  He was teling me about a 640? model or somethng?  Basically it's Husky's version of the KLR.  He sold out at $6500 each.

The only thing the Husky 630 has in common with the KLR is they are both motorcycles.  

$6500 is a damn good deal on the 630. MSRP was somewhere around $9,000. FI, great chassis, great suspension, great brakes, light weight and easy maintenance.

+1.  Just a few years ago my buddy paid $6000 for a used KTM 625 that was 2 or 3 years old.  At that time, that was a fair deal too.

There is no reason to pay over 7k for a late model, low mileage used example IMO.  

Aprilia dealer in Dahlonega GA. Brand new 08's, 0 miles and a 2 year warranty. $7699 + $95 set up fee out the door. Four to pick from I was told. Damn Amazing for a rocket ship with a $12,999 list price!!!

Riders Hill in Georgia sold all their Tuono's and I thought good for them and I escaped without spending any money.... then they got in a 2nd shipment of new leftover Tuono's and I could not resist any longer, especially after a demo ride of the one I told them I liked best. Pick it up on Thursday. Just cant pass up one of these comfortable rockets for $7699.

There were 3 left in various colors but they are going fast.

You're going to like that bike soooo much.    Congratulations!

I'm sure you've heard this already, but AF1's Aprilia forum has all the information you'll need in regards to Tuonos.  

An immediate switch to a 15T front sprocket will improve drivability.  It will improve acceleration, too, but that's not actually necessary.  

Tuonos used to come with a 15T inside the cowl over the passenger seat area for installation when the bikes were delivered.  Mine came that way.
