I think I might cry.

Selling an '07 K1200S, tri-colour with ABS, heated grips, onboard computer and ESA (shift on the fly suspension).

33036 km's

This bike is beautiful to look at and is a real nice bike to ride. It is bone stock except for a RAM GPS mount at the yoke. I didn't need to add anything to it as it was perfect out of the box.

It has tons of power, the brakes are powerful and are modulated well, the suspension is electronic so it's soft on the highways if you wish and tightens up for the twisty stuff.

Brand new Pilot Road 2 on the back, front has another season left on it. New battery as of March 26th.

$9000 with full factory luggage.

Very nice!

I love the paint scheme. I don't recall seeing that color combo here in the US...

Good luck with the sale.

It is not computer controlled but it has a very long wheelbase so when you whack the throttle open she launches straight ahead though you can feel the front end getting light. I have read that you can wheelie it but I never did. It was much easier to get the front wheel of my old Bandit off the ground.

Bike with luggage, expandable hard bags on the sides. Tank bag and tail pack are waterproof soft bags.

I have read that you can wheelie it but I never did. It was much easier to get the front wheel of my old Bandit off the ground.
It is computer controlled in a sense. There is a computer controlled stepper motor between the center carbs that prevents the Carb linkage from fully opening below 6,000 rpm. If I remember correctly, it allows something like 33% opening just off idle, and then allows progressivily more opening until around 6,000 rpm, when it's fully retracted.

One surefire way to wheely is to run the bike up to about 40 MPH in first gear with moderate throttle, which should be near 6,000 rpm, then crack the throttle wide open. I inadvertently did this not too long ago at a track day while passing a slower bike coming out of a corner. K1200's are relatively long heavy bikes, so it can be disconcerting if you are not prepared. haha

Good luck on the sale, they are great bikes.

To the top of the heap, maybe stir up some excitement.

The blue is a deeper shade than in the photo, the flash grabs the metallic flake and makes it brighter than in person.
