Heres my story. No Names have been changed, nobody is innocent.

The weather on Saturday and Sunday was absolutely fabulous. The color show we were hoping for was not that great. The oak groves in Marquette Co were nice and coppery but reds and oranges and yellows were lacking.

Our plan was to ride slow, see stuff, hunt the Big Rocks in Adams Co, go to our room, see the tribute parade, go to Tuba's Camp fire, then have a nice dinner. This is the Saturday plan. Sunday's plan was to eat a big breakfast at the Amercinn then go to Atomic Joes for the Theo Celebration coffee meet.

We saw this Rosary on the way to rock hunting. I is made out of bowling balls.

Rock hunting was tough. Most were on private property with no access.

Ship Rock

Rabbit Rock

Then we looked for a bunch of other rocks and mountains, Minnie, Keystone. Rosch a Cree (this was in a fee are and I was to cheap and the trail going to the top was closed for repair) Cottonville etc. and finally some Mountain.

My Zumo kept us going down gravel roads. The Versys likes gravel and Diane is quite comfortable on gravel at moderate speeds, at least Diane never complained.

Things were great up until the gravel pushed the plug that was in the rear tire of the Versys thru the tire. It went flat.

After this we headed back to the room to check the route for the first responder tribute parade. We went to the parade it was awesome seeing rigs from all over the state with their lights going and the slow speed. A wowsers moment. No pics, don't have the skill set to do that justice. You just got to see it.

Then the Camp fire. Great night, fun.

Then coffee and Theo celebration.

The kids played well together.

On the way home we stopped at a petting zoo.

Bowling balls!  EEK!  That's great!  Lol  I've never seen it...  where did you find it?  Headscratch

I didn't know you were able to watch the parade.  So glad you did!  Thumbsup

And I like that picture of the "kids."  Smile

I still need to work on posting mine.  They made it into my computer so far...

I've got pictures but I didn't upload them yet. I do have a video though I put together of our fishing adventure at Hartman Creek State Park.

Here's some better late than never pictures.

Great Fall weekend!

We camped

And started things on fire

Nearly a full moon

We kayaked

And fished

Shannon fears for her life as the geese fly over.  There was a large time delay but when they dropped their payload we were spared by about 50 yards.

We ate dinner at Weasels in Waupaca.

We did not try one of these, assuming it would destroy us and make for a poor night camping.

Afterwards Shannon played at a playground

Bikes at coffee

Oh and someone had a birthday
