I got home at 9:00pm (10:00 eastern) 13 hours in the seat.
It was great to see old faces and some new ones to.
I did head over to see that big ass shovel (big musky) this morning and then started the trek home.
The sky's were clear and sunny till i started to get to the Indiana border and then light showers moved in but it wasn't heavy enough to put the rain suit on. when i did stop for gas i put on the suit and of course it stopped raining.
I almost bought the pine box. Now it is getting dark and it starts raining again and now i can't see shit and the shield is fogging up. i was going around 55mph couldn't see very good and then a deer ran in front of me from the left. I never saw it till it was about 2 feet in front of me and he was in a full run. I thought i was going to hit his ass but we never touched. I stopped on the side of the road and did some praying.
The last 20 miles from my house were the worst wether of the ride. The rain was that heavy misty type the kind that comes down in sheets.
Note to self, get new rain suit.
Other than that it was a great time. Hope to see yall again soon.

Sometimes I wonder if it's not best when you don't know what's coming
Glad your luck held out.
Thanks for stopping by on the road & asking if I needed some help. (I could have/should have used a half-ounce of common sense.) I was pulled over searching my GPS for the nearest gas station. Nice of you to follow me just in case I ran out. What a great way to meet another STN’er!
Turns out I took a total of 5.6 gallons (from both stops) to fill up after we arrived – so theoretically at least – I had enough in the tank to make it all the way back to Marietta without stopping. Just the same, I’m glad we found that gas station on the way in.
Glad to hear you make it home safe & sound - even if a little wet.

Left at 7 AM Sunday and made it home after lunch, fuel and a dinner stop to meet with friends around 9:30, 560 miles.
This was my first ESTN and definitely see more in my future. Thanks for putting this together.

As I posted in the original thread, made it home about 5:30 yesterday after a great weekend of riding. The roads, weather, and company combined for a great time!

Made it home safely monday night about 8pm. Stopped in columbus to check out Iron Pony motorsports as recommended by buckeyerider Jim. What a freaking great place! It is like seeing the competion accessories catalog come to life. Over 100,000 sqft of retail space. Picked up the firstgear teton jacet that I had been looking for marked down to $299 from $469. Will right up a review on it later in the gear section.
Great time as usuall with the stn crowd. Was good to see the familiars and meet some new. Thanks again Garry for setting this up and the assist on plugging my tire.

Glad to hear you could work a trip to the Iron Pony into your plans.
I didn't think you'd be dissappointed. It's like a super porn shop for riders...
Nice meeting you.
