Good idea .  ZED & I generally make Canada Day into a longer weekend and ride to the Kootenays - often our first ride over the Rockies for the season.

- To socialize and ride for the weekend with some of the finest folks I know  wouldn't miss it

I would like to keep the same format if Bubba is good with it but  but we might be calling in some markers to get a little more participation in helping prepare things. I am sure Jim will drop in with his  thoughts, That said I am always open to other ideas but last year was   its a tradition I would like to keep going

I think the idea of maintaining the status quo and as Dave says, TRADITION ! ... speaks loudest to everyone. I am OK with that too.
