Long Island: exploding carnival of fall foliage.

No. I cut my lush green grass yesterday and all the leaves are still green. Many were wisked away by Hurricane Irene back in August so our color situation is sure to disappoint this year. Additionally, our pumpkin industry suffered from the 4th wettest summer in history so the idiots from Queens aren't bothering loading up the Sentra with their 6 kids and setting them free in a muddy field.
Get you pumpkins early or go without....
Despite what the stats indicate we are operating well above normal temp-wise here on LI. We haven't dipped below 70 yet, which is super awesome. It has been rainy lately.
Ewwwwww.
Ewwwwww.
The Tick.
Ooooooh, look at the pretty colors.
A washed out kodak moment.

Poor bastard sank in the mud upside-dowm. Really is the only logical explanation.
Vacant.
Some Irene damage.
This was a little trail with a gulley on either side. Not sure how I got there but I kept on it for a while.
I found a really cool shooting range where rednecks, probably from Michigan, shoot Anti-freeze bottles, baby heads and other challenging targets.
Don't park here.

Well, it is MUCH larger than this log I crashed trying to "Jump" over a few weeks ago.

They are most likely not from Michigan for the following reasons:
1. Most folks here couldn't find Long Island on a map, if it bit 'em on the ass. They think Long Island is part of the Jersy Shore, and would be asking around for Snooky and the Situation.
2. There are no "Rednecks" in Michigan is it is too darn snowy and cold to get a sunburned neck. The sun only shines for about 3 weeks in the summer, if your lucky. At best we might have a couple of Pink Necks...
3. We do have "Forest Billies" though. It's a version of "Hill Billie" that moved up from Kentucky and Tennessee, got their sister pregnant while visiting, and never left the trailer park.

1.15 million $$ ? Isn't that normal for a 500 Square foot home on LI anyway?

Nah, we've taken quite the hit the last few years.
I think it's a touch too high but it is right on a deep water canal and is a very nice house, bleeding walls notwithstanding.
