Hey Region 6'ers Did you ride today? Show me!

Did 100 miles of area back roads today, even discovered a few new ones.  Sunny, 57 degrees, beautiful!  Took a few pics at various waterways...  Groton Reservoir, Mystic River boat launch, and looking out into Long Island Sound to New London Ledge Light, about 2 blocks from my house!

Went out for an afternoon ride to play the 1st State Phototag

The grab involed a big c@ck!


From there, it was assorted back roads to the drop location.


Topped the ride off with a stop at Speedwerks, a place I always stop by when I am in the area.

Actually yesterday but hey, I've been busy smoking cigars, drinking coffee and napping.

My old buddy John Todd is in town, he has a business that purifies local waters with a bio something or other. I do know how it works as we used to party at his dads house where the research that he uses was originated.

I had a great ride to the work site where we had a quick catch up to plan a dinner with him, myself, my kids, wife and Ex wife (blessed to have that sort of relationship).

After all that excitement it was off to lunch with the lovely Mrs. Black.



I left in the morning with the heated gear on and left it in my wifes car at her work. What a glorious tank of fuel.

I road about 150 miles this morning,taking the long way from Lancaster to selinsgrove, pa. What a beautiful morning to be in coal country. I stopped at the yuengling brewery, in pottsville, to get a tag for another forum, and set the new tag in centralia, the town with no citizens, and an underground coal fire. I should have taken more pictures.

Tagging on Friday, covered bridges yesterday and Blackwater today!    Somewhere in the area of 650 miles over the three days.
Started out at Rudy's Diner where I ran into my friend that runs this.


Then it was off to various lovely roads and places in the Blackwater Wildlife Refuge.
