Why yes I did. Crazy

My buddy is off work this week & wanted some help chipping some brush / small logs that he had cut on his property.  Since we only have one cage, had to take the moto.

I left yesterday & the VTR looked like this   Lol

After digging it out, unplugging the battery tender, I checked the tire pressure & not too bad, but broke out the air compressor to fill the tires, but since I have a new hose attachment, I had a tough time getting air in the tires - can't wait to get new tires as I will install those right angle valve stems.  Took me about 10 minutes contorting the air hose to fill the tires, What a PITA Embarassment

Then getting dressed for the conditions - it was about 35 to 40 degrees when I left house yesterday.  Gerbings check, heated grips - yeppers - trying to squeeze my fat gut into the liner plus jacket  EEK! scary.

And of course I barely had enough petrol to make it to his house. Headscratch

So I helped him until we got too tired & torched the rest.  Charlie U get the gasoline, Eddie U get the matches - we gonna start a fire.

Well I crashed @ his place, then rode home late this morning as it was just starting to rain/snow in the Lehigh Valley.  And since he lives West of me, I factored I'd be good w/ no precip.  Wrong.  It was raining more the farther East I rode.  Oh well its not too far.  Thankfully I was wearing my ski overpants.

It was nice to get out and ride, if only briefly in the cold & rain Bigok Lol

Lastly, I may ride again next week to Daytona - if I don't go there> maybe DR for a boys trip Wink

the snow is finally gone on the southern shore of Lake Ontario. A quick spin to Fair Haven to see if the carb work, finally drilled the choke jet out and moved the needle clip, and the pieces parts will create synenergy. Synergy not so much.... Sad

Carb work came out great.... Waiting on an Eastern Beaver wire harness to tidy things up and add the Strebel Horn.

No love between the Corbin seat and the IMS tank.

If the new tank will make at least the trip to work the 1 gallon aux tank will go so the Dirt Bagz can go back on.

On an good note the Powerlet jacket and gloves will be replacing the Aerostich bib and Gerbings gloves.
