Some good news!

HD has basically been telling 09 1125 owners to go @#$% themselves over the charging issues on the '09 1125.  HD customer service basically told me the same thing when I asked  if they would install the 08 charging system on my 09.

EBR just released a kit for the 09 1125.  No specs are listed, but the stator and rotor look to be the same as the 08 parts.

It's not cheap, but that about half the price that HD is charging for the 08 stator/rotor/cover assuming you can even get them.

This makes me feel a lot better about keeping my 1125R long term.

It's got 18 posts like the 08 stator.  About 1/2 the price of me getting the stator and rotor through a dealer, and it comes with the cover.

I've got over 4000km out of my last stator and it is still behaving.  The two before lasted 4000km and I could tell by the way the voltage behaved with temperature when they were getting ready to fail.

Maybe H-D have fixed the issue like they said.  They haven't revised the part number.  I'll know in a few thou more km.  If I don't get a new stator for Christmas it will give some hope.
