i wanted to. but the blower motor in the furnace went out.  been making noise or awhile   of course it went out on a nice day.. LOL. so 120 bucks later we have heat again.  so tomorrow connor and i will get out . as i said. local. just around Elizabeth. if he does good maybe farther.. might take Gwyn's bandit out . since it hasn't been on the road in a few weeks.   we will see. . for awhile it will be all about connor and his comfort level. . looking forward to having him as a ridding partner.

ya i have been out in the garage already.. re installed the luggage rack on the sabre . so connor could put the cortech tail bag on it.. be able to have a place to put a some extra gear if it gets to warm or cold. thinking about leaving for a ride about 11:30 or so. spend a couple hours out and be able to get back and watch the broncos..

just got back from a ride with connor..it was his first ride being able to get over 50mph. he did great ..  its realy cool to have him as a ridding partner..  the scala Q2 is very cool. connor said it realy helped with getting the tips from me while we were ridding. the sound clairity is fantasitc. it also works great with the blackberry .. the only thing i realy wish it would do alow you to play music over the bluetooth .  ohh well guess you cant have everything..

I could not resist heading out for a ride either. Shot down to Deckers for a coffee.

Beautiful pic Justin. Do they drop much in the way of sand on Deckers or is it pretty safe to ride once the ice and snow is off?

Most of it was OK. On that twisty section down by Deckers there was a lot of sand, and some slippery stuff left on the road in the shady spots. Was not bad at all though.

Since the topic is "who is riding tomorrow", and tomorrow never comes, then my new answer is "yes" Smile - might head up and do the p2p.

so much for trying to ride today.. wind was a nightmare.  some reports on the news of gusts of over 100mph in the mountains and foothills.  ohh well. still have a couple days to get out before the end of the weekend.

Yeap, we drove up to Arvada last night for Indian food. On the way up on c-470 next to the foothills there were 3 trucks blown over on their sides. This was between the Bowles exit and 285 exit. That section can get some crazy winds.

This weekend I'm in Austin packing up my garage and the bike is in Aurora...next weekend is the search for a house in Denver as my wife flies up on Thursday. Pretty much every weekend from now until the middle of February is slated for something involving the move up...oh the fun. It will be nice to be able to ride somewhere other than the surface of the sun this summer though. That is what I am holding out for.

Thanks, we brought the bike up in the summer of 2006 when Austin was at 105 daily and it was near 100 in the Denver area. We went out riding with a friend (and his then wife) and it was a much more pleasant ride than back here in Central Texas. I brought my Sprint up in the middle of October, we had hoped to get out the weekend before he left for the South Pole a couple of weeks later but the weather didn't cooperate. I will be ready to get it out when we finally get the move completed.
