Nah, I don't need tires. I got a new set put on the bike Friday. They should still have another fifteen hundred miles left.

Edited to add:  See?  They look great.

Do the fuel canisters stay put?  I'd worry about them bouncing out of the water bottle cages. Headscratch

The canisters had seat belts, too. LD secured them with Velcro straps through the caps, and they were rock solid all day Saturday.  Admittedly, most roads were pretty smooth, but I don't see them as having any problems.

I asked him the same question -- LD said there was a strap attachment as well.   Headscratch

I had a velcro strap on the cannisters just to be safe. 1,290 miles later, the cans did not move one milimeter.  The straps were unnecessary, but I still like the security of them.  Also, we never needed the cannisters.

Total mileage for the trip, 1,290 in two days.  1,045 miles in 16 moving hours on Saturday.

The Diablo Rosso II's lasted just over 3,200 miles and are on the wearbars.  I think I'm going to try some Q2's next.

PS:  Radar worked just fine, thank you very much!  Smile
