I'm out.....   Sad

for reasons.....

happy ones.   Smile

I usually save this one for Cablebandit... "You serious, Clark?"

If so, bummer! But if it's for a good/happy reason, I guess I can counter that bummer with a "yay!"

I didn't read through all 57 pages but it seems like there's room for another tent.

This'll be my first S-T.N gathering, I hope there's no hazing EEK!

As long as you read Post #1, you'll be fine. And you avoided 56.5 pages of tripe in the process!  Clap

I'll update the camping list shortly and send you a PM for more information. Welcome aboard!  Thumbsup

I don't know. After my first ST.n meet, I kept it as a badge of honor, along with the mental scars.

JMFHF, it appears that technology remains an elusive concept to our friends at Boyer Station.

In my conversation with Barbara on Friday, I mentioned that a few motelers had dropped out and that folks from my waiting list had moved into their spots. I told her I would e-mail her the list of motelers from whom she should expect phone calls.

Already I'm hearing that what I have as the official motel list and what she's referring to are two different lists.

I will call her at 8 PM this evening to review the list of motelers, room types, and room nights over the phone. Unless y'all tell me otherwise, I will make sure that everyone who has a motel room has that room for both Friday and Saturday nights (even though I did this once already, two months ago).

I'm confident that a little phone-time is all that's needed to set things straight; bear with me as I work to iron out another wrinkle in our plans. We'll get there!  Thumbsup

P.S. Want more bad news? I have to go to a conference/meeting out of state in the days leading up to the meet, so I won't have time to bake cookies. Not only might y'all not have rooms, but now you're going to starve, too!  OMGOMGOMG

Beth, would be behoove us to give you our CC numbers for the reservations as long as you're contacting her again? Make it all one fell swoop kind of thing?

No.

Seems like the big problem is MrsC is trying actually get first come first reserved and the station will confirm the first message they hear or email they read regardless of when it was sent. Thanks to MrsC for her efforts and I too am glad I'm in a tent!

Okeedokee.

Just wondering if the single-point-of-contact was the best way to go with them. We'll await your word on calling them.

Thanks.

Y'all just think I'm nice and trustworthy...but can you imagine the trouble I could get into with 19 credit card numbers?!?

On second thought...yeah, yeah...send them my way!  firedevil

I'll update the thread once I've spoken with Babs tonight.

I hope there aren't any similar concerns about indoor plumbing. EEK!
