I have an approx 330 mile loop planned for Saturday. It will be run clockwise, ...

Headscratch

I looked at this when you first posted it & figured you would run it counterclockwise.  Pack some twisties into the morning & catch the touristy stuff in the PM.  So I plotted it CC in MApSource and added some sightseeing in the PM.  You just can never tell; now can ya?  Looks interesting because it covers some roads on the NW leg that I haven't traveled.  Thanks for posting.   Thumbsup

Here's a nice 250 mile sampler: From Boyer, 28 South to 39 near Marlinton,
39 East to 60 near Lexington, 60 East through Buena Vista to the BRP,
BRP North to end at Waynesboro, West on 64 ( sigh, it's only 16 miles )to Staunton for lunch.
After lunch, ( I recommend Baja Bean Co. ) 250 West back to Boyer.

Cool. I have a craptastic GPS that I can not, no how, program routes.

I predict the forecast - whatever it is - will be wrong.  That said, I'm packing heated gear.

Plan to download my routes onto GPS tonight, and start packing.

I think my bike is ready.  The neighbors were wondering why I've been doing so much work to it and so little riding.

I explained it's a used bike and that it's a lot of sorting out and setting up.  By now I've been over it with a fine toothed comb.

Yesterday I washed it, adjusted and lubed the chain.

I have an approx 330 mile loop planned for Saturday.

That looks great, and I'm always up for a JamminJere route.  The Multi needs fuel every 130 miles or so - would that work out OK?

I have an approx 330 mile loop planned for Saturday. It will be run clockwise, cover all types of roads (no double track for MrsCablebandits sake) and scenery.

Haven't you made me do it all by now (willingly or otherwise)?!? Bring it on; I'm not worried!   Cool  Inlove

Frank,

If it was winter I would ride it counter clockwise to keep the low sun outta our eyes most of the day..  But if we leave for Wayne's across the street by 8am.. Grab some grub, gas.. And then head south, the sun (presuming its out.. This is an ST.N event) shouldn't be an issue. Once we start heading west off of 92 towards blue bend, it won't be a problem the rest of the day..  If you run it  CC you'll be fine too.  Wave when you go by.. Bigsmile  Lol
