I'm riding Friday morning from State College PA if anyone else coming through there wants to meet up and ride down together.
You're more than welcome to join us for breakfast at Mamie's in Martinsburg, PA @ 10:00 AM.
( SE corner intersection of 866 & 164 )
Afterwards we'll be riding some of the best roads the area has to offer on the way to Boyer's.

Anybody have an exact GPS coordinate for the motel/campground???
OK I got N38.49682 W79.79473 for Boyer
ChrisZRX says N38 29.359 W79 47.968
Frecnchie says 38.492781,-79.795268,
You could probably nail it - oops, there I go again - with Google Earth.
I could see the motel office from 38°29'22.10"N 79°48'0.64"W, which is 0.6 miles south of where I originally marked it.
So what do you think; should anal retentive be hyphenated or just avoided altogether?

Looks as if I will be able to make this party after all, assuming there is camping space left. [Beth, do I need to contact Boyer Station directly about camping or do you just put me on the list and I pay on arrival?]

Awesome! Just show up. Barbara has the entire campground reserved for our group. See you Friday!

I'll be departing Lancaster County 7-8 ish Thursday morning heading W/SW along the Mason Dixon line before heading to Tanneytown, then through the Catoctin Mt Park, Shepherstown, Charlestown and to Front Royal. Depending on my progress and weather forecast I'll head down 340, or Skyline, or head west and catch one of the WV routes.
Any interested parties, let me know.
I'll have to try the breakfast at Mamies on another trip. Thanks for the offered hospitality, SLK.
You will pass my home.
Be very careful through Tanneytown Police are everywhere & like to hide
Doing breakfast at Mamies But I could travel back home with you on Sunday.

Hey, we're heading south from Jamestown toward Altoona on Thursday. I've heard that there's a lot of trucking going on in PA. Anywhere in particular to avoid? Any suggested routes?
Anyhow, see you at Mamie's on Friday. I'm looking forward to this year's first decent ride.
The roads aren't too bad but be aware that anything running through north central PA is going to have water trucks, dump trucks and various other trucks to support the well drillers. Just be aware as you're riding that you could be be on perfect pavement one minute and the next the road is covered in dirt/mud. As long as you're not running silly speeds you should be OK.

Close enough for horseshoes. It's not like we're planning an airstrike.

We'll be leaving my place at 7:30 if you want to tag along. We'll pick up some more riders in Breezewood then head for the mountains.

Maybe he's legally blind and needs exact coordinates to find the campground?
I'll bring my cannon... He can find it by following the concussion blast.

Post 1 has been modified to reflect Bigpoodle's attendance. Am I missing anyone? I've been trying to keep up with the thread this week while I'm away. I think everyone is present and accounted for in the list of attendees. I'm keeping Clay in there because I still have hope!
