You may be correct on that.

I need to do a few things to the bikes this weekend before I ride them any distance anyhow.

I got the old girl spruced up and ready to go for another season... new sneaks, brakes shoes, rotors surfaced, fresh oil, battery, antifreeze and other fluids,  cleaned and serviced my fuel tank and fuel pump. Put on her summer outfit and she's good as new.  Runs great! Now if I can get myself back to par.. I'll be ready for "Country Roads".. Smile

I found a solution to that; having your brand new tires sliced open lets all the bad air out. Once you pay for new tires that only had ~200 miles on them, you can put whatever air you like back in. On the upside, once the bike is made more aerodynamic by having extraneous things like gauges, mirrors, turn signals and head lights removed with a hammer, the bike is lighter, faster, and is more useful with the new air. It's all for the best, really.

So, I need to do something to turn my spouse into a crazy person?  Any tips?    couch Wink

I use leeches.

The worst was on a trip last year, I had to mix Canadian air with American air. Rode like shit till I got home as I don't carry any leeches with me on the road.

I've met her; I don't think it's in her DNA.  Thumbsup

I'm sure she'll appreciate this comment so much that she won't make you sleep on an air mattress during your next visit.  You may actually be promoted to the new guest bedroom with a real bed.   Lol

OK.  Here goes. My last post on here was 2008.
It has been a very long time since I have camped out on a motorcycle, much less gone to a meet.  2004 or 2005 I think, but that was with another crowd.  (VFR riders…)  I have read this thread, and am amazed at the ability of MrsCablebandit to tolerate the amount of thread jacking.  Perhaps I will bring her cookies to mitigate her suffering.
In spite or maybe because of the foolishness displayed in this thread, I would like to invite myself along on this particular boondoggle.

Things to do:
Put bike back together.
Paint bike.
Ride.

Don't worry about it, she's a glutten for punishment.  Afterall, she married Chris.
