JMFHF, it appears that technology remains an elusive concept to our friends at Boyer Station.  

In my conversation with Barbara on Friday, I mentioned that a few motelers had dropped out and that folks from my waiting list had moved into their spots. I told her I would e-mail her the list of motelers from whom she should expect phone calls.

Already I'm hearing that what I have as the official motel list and what she's referring to are two different lists.  

I will call her at 8 PM this evening to review the list of motelers, room types, and room nights over the phone. Unless y'all tell me otherwise, I will make sure that everyone who has a motel room has that room for both Friday and Saturday nights (even though I did this once already, two months ago).

I'm confident that a little phone-time is all that's needed to set things straight; bear with me as I work to iron out another wrinkle in our plans. We'll get there!  

P.S. Want more bad news? I have to go to a conference/meeting out of state in the days leading up to the meet, so I won't have time to bake cookies. Not only might y'all not have rooms, but now you're going to starve, too!

Seems like the big problem is MrsC is trying actually get first come first reserved and the station will confirm the first message they hear or email they read regardless of when it was sent. Thanks to MrsC for her efforts and I too am glad I'm in a tent!
