and go get some dinner ( with beer ), no worry about riding afterwards.

Frenchie...you need to lighten the hell up!    When in the wide, wide world of sports will you learn that some of us will take any/all opportunities to pick on you mercilessly? If you think this trip is going to be de-stressing, you've got another thing coming! CB & I will be there, Spanky, HappyRiding, JJ...you, sir, are doomed.

I will not pick on frenchie any more. I am trying to turn over a new leaf and be civil to all gods creatures no matter how fucked up they are. I am not doing very well with my new attitude, but I endeavor to persevere and grow into a caring and kind individual - even to the french among us.

To your credit, you have dispatched all "bumps in the road" that have been seen to negatively impact your event; this I can not deny.  Still, as it affects me directly, I am compelled to ask, "Have you taken steps to create a "Cookie Contingency" for those of us staying down the road, in Cass?"

Unfortunately, I have a business trip starting this weekend through next Wednesday which means I am not promising to bring *any* cookies. I'm hopeful that I'll find some time, but since I can't guarantee anything, it's best not to expect cookies from me.

Ladies, ladies, ladies.  I'll be taking my cookstove for side dishes, and the grate for meat.  I'm not a savage.  The grate is stainless and you're all welcome to use it.  I plan to feast around the fire.  I'm good with rare.

It's an overcast dreary morning here in the Piedmont area of NC.  My office faces north and I'm high up enough to see some of the foothills of the Blue Ridge mountains.  I can't help but think that I'll be riding that way in just over a week.  

It's like the mountains are saying, "see you in a week!"  I can't wait, it's been too long since I've done a road trip.  I'm not able to ride as much with the new job.  The plus side is, it appears I appreciate riding much more than before.  

One week and one day and I'll be on the road.  I am officially getting excited for this one.
