Looks like we luck out with a warm front for the trip 90's Thursday, 80's Friday & upper 70's for the weekend Smile
With that in mind just a little safety minute. The mornings will still be cool & perhaps damp. I remember a track day a couple years ago at Thunderbolt in November where I thought the tires were warmed up after a lap only to see me low side with absolutely no warning & barely leaning the bike with street tires. Ride at your pace... everything is relative with paces. Bigsmile

Hey.. There is no dirt roads on this route this time..  I'm not changing it now..  But if I see a good trail I can always be persuaded to take it.  Smile

LOL...  Yes,  the golf cart path is still on the route  Rolleyes
Most of the riders should be able to hold a line on 3 or 4 feet wide macadam for a few miles  Lol

True.   I've seen him drive into corners so deep, he could see the back of his own helmet!

Woohoo! Looking forward to a good weekend of riding and seeing everyone.  Bigok

If anyone wants to connect with Jamie and I (riding 2-up) in Morgantown, WV on Friday for the ride down, we welcome the company...though we won't be hauling ass—she's 4 months pregnant, so I'll be riding SAFE. (Funny—last time we rode to a meet together was Nationals in Lewisburg...when she was 4 months pregnant with our daughter Keira!) I have no route planned for the ride down since it's all good. The general plan is just to "wander down to Boyce."  Razz

Jamie pulled on her gear this evening and *just* managed to zip her jacket over her belly. Fastening the riding pants is another story, LOL. She's stoked for the ride though!

Some of you guys are being all too mushy on this trip "oh, oh if anybody wants to ride meet us up blah blah blah.

Clay, if you don't make it with Eric (Meemuch) i'm gonna slap ya's both with a dead stiff kitten roadkill possum or squirrel or something.   Lol Twofinger Bigok

You guys aren't really bailing out on this are ya's?

Maybe I should tap into my writing shit and compose a big sorry ass sap ass letter telling why both you bitches need to get you and the bikes down there. Mr. Black too. John, can't you put YBH on that situation for 2 days???

I am really trying to make this a go. It does sound like a good time. I need a couple day's out of the mill and a couple hundred miles of road and a few diners.

Tentative plans in the works, let's see how big my Connie balls are because I'll be running 700+ if I go on a plugged tire. Never ran on a plugged tire before. Short runs, yeah. 300 mile+ runs one way, no. Tire shit makes me nervous. I had an ordeal this year that could have put me in the ground.

I think I have about 1500 on that patch job now, it's been holding good. We plugged it from the inside with a mushroom plug and a patch glued over the top of it, hit it with a heat gun and all that. Leaked like a bitch for a month, then it started holding every pound of air. Weird.

Frenchie says it'll be OK. I'll have my lawyer call his.  Lol Lol Lol Bigok

kidding dude

I'm giving it my all- the bitch is that there is an issue finding a sub.  With it being theme week at school, most of the ones we use are already employed for this deal.  I plan to continue packing and planning.  I'm going to give on a call personally this afternoon- he works as a greenskeeper when it's nice out and I'm hoping to talk him into it.  Thumbsup

Well Smoker did do his entire circuit of the USA a few years back on a plugged tire, 2 up, and more than likely at a high rate of speed the entire time.
