It appears the "Bull and Bear BBQ" is Marlinton is no more either. This is getting frustrating...

The Greenbrier in Marlinton is spotty for food and service but will be open for sure. There is a little bar down the street that has Burning River on tap, but a very limited menu (wings and burgers I think).

Several options in Lewisburg if that happens to be on your route home. I know there is an Applebees or TGIF in the parking lot of the Quality Inn/Brier Inn.

EDIT: YES! 100 BITCHES!!!!

IF the roads are in good shape I'll be happy with a pack of crackers, some mustard eggs washed down with a 5 hour energy dring. Smile

I did a little checking and it looks like the group I'm taking on Saturday will be dining at the

Helvetia Hutte Restaurant. I spoke with the proprietor and she is excited to "feed and take care of y'all".

I just got lost for an hour in a state forest on gravel roads in a downpour with the reserve light on. It was Great!  Guess the GS is made for this stuff.

OK 10AM tomorrow at Mamie's. Is that the time we eat or the time we leave?

Don't sweat the food thing too much around camp.  I will have a kitchen with me.  I will have an outdoor grill that attaches to the trailer and what I hope is a plentiful supply of propane.  We're about to do a Giant run and we might run into some extra hot dogs and maybe some other stuff.  I'm not saying I'll be able to feed 50 people and send everyone off with packed lunches, but we'll have some spare stuff. Smile

I also packed a fair amount of tools including electrical bits, have a set of tie downs and a ramp which will NOT be needed this weekend, and a generator, air compressor, 5 gallons of gas, etc...  If there are mechanical or maintenance needs, see Chris or someone qualified who can then see me about tools and supplies.  Smile
