We made it to moorefield. Had dinner and drinks  gonna hit the hay. 6.30 hours on bike moving time. 320 miles. See ya'll there.

Dan and I will be at Mamie's for breakfast. Looking forward to riding the VA/WV border again. Robert I see that your planned route includes Patterson Creek Road south of Cumberland. I have found several interesting side roads that connect to Patterson Creek and Knobely Roads.  Old Fields Road goes from Old Fields on Route 220 just north of Moorefield to the tiny village of Williamsport, WV on Patterson Creek RD. Just south of Williamsport is Belle Babb Ln which connects Patterson Creek to Knobely Rd. There is an unusual and unused earthen dam on Belle Babb Ln. Going south from Belle Babb on Knobely Rd, Greenland Gap is the next road to the right. It goes past a narrow gorge with nice rock formations. It ends at the junction of Routes 42 & 93, which is the bottom of Mt. Storm, a favorite twisty bit. Patterson Creek and Knobely Roads are great alternatives to taking 220 south through Keyser, WV. See you at Mamie's for breakfast.

With Clay and Meemuh out (BOO!), we have a last-minute opening for a double room. The last person on the waiting list - FZMax - has backed out, so it's available to the first taker(s). At this late juncture, the first person to post up to claim the room and call Barbara to tell her you're replacing Clay on the rooming list, well...congrats! The room is yours!  Thumbsup
